Pinkfong and Hogi or Wonderstar is a team consisting of Pinkfong and Hogi. In the English release, they are dubbed "Team Wonderstar" or the "Wonderstar Problem-Solvers".[1] It is named after the village Wonderville, and Pinkfong's star that crashed on top of Hogi's house.[2] Pinkfong and Hogi solve their friends' problems.
Gear[]
Pinkfong uses Pio to make wishes possible and to help others. Hogi relies on his encyclopedia for his knowledge. Poki mainly assists them in gadgets, including power gloves.[3] In the character introductions article, it is said that Pinkfong and Hogi rely on Lila as their sketch artist, but this is not likely since she only appears in a few episodes.
Changing the Name[]
Pinkfong and Hogi ditched the name "Wonderstar", along with the Korean series title becoming "Detectives Pinkfong and Hogi". They are now simply called Pinkfong and Hogi.[4]
