"Baby Shark" is a campfire song performed and popularized by Pinkfong. It is the channel's most popular video, and the most viewed YouTube video of all time, clocking in at over 14 billion as of April 2024. Due to the massive popularity of this video, Baby Shark and his family are now recurring characters on the channel.
The kid performers in this video are Park Geonroung(boy) and Hope Segoine(girl). They are both kids models in Korea
On June 7, 2019, it was officially announced that Pinkfong was developing an animated preschool show based on Baby Shark. A year later, on June 25, 2020, the show's working title was revealed as "Baby Shark's Big Show!". On July 15, 2020, Baby Shark and Pinkfong collaborated with Luis Fonsi (known for the song Despacito, which is currently the second most viewed video on YouTube with over 8.4 billion views).
Baby Shark reached one of the top spots among children. However, some people find it annoying till they end up making petitions to ban Baby Shark, which is somewhat weird.
